# Quickstart

> Minimum path: account → TPA → data → generate → databank.

# Quickstart

## 1. Create and verify your account

1. Open the app and sign up with email/password (or OAuth if enabled).
2. Complete **email verification** with the OTP code.
3. If you forget the password: Forgot password → OTP → Reset password.

## 2. Install and pair the TPA

1. In **Profile**, download the TPA (**Windows** or **Linux**), install it, and **start** it.
2. The tray icon starts **gray (offline)**. Open the tray menu and click **Link** / **Vincular**.
3. In the browser (signed into your account) confirm with **Link**, wait for success, then **close that tab**.
4. Check **Profile → Agent status**: it should say **Connected · …** (not “no agent linked”).
5. Check the tray: the icon turns **green** with *online*.

  The first M1 cache sync can take a long time. That is expected; later updates are usually faster deltas.

## 3. Download data

1. Open **Data**.
2. Pick a catalog symbol, timeframe, and range; start the download.
3. Wait for the job to finish (progress / Jobs).

## 4. Run a small generation

1. Open **Generator**.
2. Start with a moderate `n` and **workers = 1** until you know your machine.
3. Watch Jobs; top strategies may appear in the Databank **during** the run.

  Raising `workers` can cause out-of-memory failures. If the job fails, lower workers or run size.

## 5. Explore the Databank

Filter by metrics, open a strategy, review equity/trades, then validate or export if it looks promising.
